i bought my ddj ergo today

1 problem i am seeing is that the load pulse will only work\illuminate the deck when that deck is empty,
when it has another track (even when its stoped-cued it doesnt display the load pulse)

i am running vdj on windows 7 , and the ddj ergo has the latest firmware 1.20 and the 1.100 drivers.

i am using vdj pro 7.05b

If you re referring to the blue illumination of the jogwheels, that is present only on the deck that is masterdeck each time. On auto mode of masterdeck that deck deck is actually the one that its on air (playing out live).
 
thank you for the answer..but that's not what i am referring to.

i am sorry , its not called load pulse but launch pulse

i am talking about the launch pulse , the lights ( visual display) of the ergo that go from the load button to the jog wheel

when you load a track you get a led visual display on the ergo ( at least when the deck is empty)

i get this only when the deck is empty , when its cued or stopped , it just loads the track but no load pulse..
 
i just found out that on the limited edition of vdj that is supplied with the ergo , everything works fine and as advertised

on the pro edition the launch pulse does not work when a track is in the deck you want to load the next song

maybe something in the mapper can be added ?
 
after playing around i came to the conclusion that the ddj ergo mapper for vdj pro is missing probably some details... ( or not & and it can be fixed-added in vdj script language ?)
 
ohhhh my god . i found it !!!

i copied the ddj ergo skin from the le to the pro and EVERYTHING WORKS !!!!!!

if i only knew before !!!

so some tweaking must be made to the vdj pro skin to fix those little things ..
 
I believe that it should ok, with any 4 deck skin. The Ergo skin can show only 2 decks, but its still a 4 deck one. In case you need to use a 2 deck skin with Ergo, and have all the functions work properly, edit the first line of the xm file by adding .. nbdecks="4"
