Hi guys,
OK, well I tried asking support from Ustream about this, but they seem to be in *shrugs* about this, but while Im using my Ergo on Ustream, I CANNOT use my microphone connected to the Ergo.
I can use the microphone off the Pioneer DDJ Ergo for regular mixing as I can hear myself from my external speakers, but when Im broadcasting live off Ustream, no one can hear my voice using the microphone.
I noticed the only way I can broadcast is by connecting a LINE IN cable from the mic output on the Ergo to the mic input on the laptop, SO that input is already in use in transmitting the audio from the Ergo to the laptop while broadcasting.
So yah, Im confused on how I can use my microphone on the Ergo while broadcasting if its already in use?
Im sure there IS a way as Im sure Im not the only one who has come across this as well.
Im using Windows 7 by the way.
Thanks and any help would be highly appreciated.
Mike

OK, when you're broadcasting from VDJ, the sound is being sent directly from the computer.
Your Ergo is not part of the computer - it's an external device. Plugging the mic into the Ergo sends the sound out of the Ergo outputs, NOT out of the computer/software, so it doesn't get broadcast.
What you may be able to do is set VDJ to broadcast from the sound set in the 'record loopback' option. If you can set 'record loopback' to Ergo, then the sound that gets broadcast should be the Ergo output - including the mic.
FYI I don't know for sure if the above is possible, as I don't own an Ergo and I don't broadcast with VDJ, so E&OE.

Well, I am recording the broadcast from VDJ, but not sure what you mean about the record loopback option, but Ill take a look at options in VDJ and see whats up.
Will it still sound the same and broadcast out of the Ergo to the computer and to UStream? In other words, if I do this, will it change any quality of the sound?

Maybe the limited version with the Ergo hasn't got the option for record loopback....
