I've updated my software several times in the past and I click on the download and when it is finished I RUN IT.
Now it is telling me another version of Virtual is already installed and I need to go into my control panel and delete the program before installing the new one.
This has never happened in the past, it has just automatically updated the changes.
I'm afraid that if I delete the older version of Virtual i will lose all my cue points, bpm...etc....
Any suggestions?

It's because the last couple of updates weren't major releases, but due to fixing and adding a few things the build number changed but it stayed on version 7.05.
You should get in the habit of backing up your vdj folder in "my documents" every month or so, but if you delete the current version on your computer just make sure you have the vdj folder backed up, I do the whole thing so any mappers, effects, samples and the database gets backed up. when you reinstall the newer build just paste the old vdj folder over the new one to get everything back... VDJ may well keep the files when you uninstall but I'm not prepared to find out the hard way that it doesn't.

This is probably because you have installed a minor update (I.e: 7.0.5 -> 7.0.5b), so Windows installer doesn't see it as being a new version.
Simply uninstall the old version first and then install the software again. You will be asked whether you wish to keep your database or not.
Make sure that you perform a backup first (You should already be doing this on a regular basis anyway) - See: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/How%20do%20I%20backup%20my%20VirtualDJ%20database%20and%20settings.html
