I ran video and karaoke last night with minimal problems. No problem with karaoke at all.
I had slight issues with video. Some of my videos would skip and they were not fluid. Backspins and scratches were bad looking.
How can I fix this?
I have a POWERFUL macbook pro.
2.5Ghz quad core i7 with 16gb memory.
VDJ ran very good last night with this machine. I used my NS6. Scratching was not perfect but it was not very horrible. I would like to tighten the scratch up but i NEED video to run smooth.
A little help please?

Let me clarify an earlier statement.
"I had slight issues with video. Some of my videos would skip and they were not fluid. Backspins and scratches were bad looking."
Video would skip but audio was fine. No skip in audio, just video.
Backspins, weather fast, slow or very slow were not just bad but VERY bad on video. Audio was fine.
Scratching was also very bad on video. Audio was fine.
I do not have auto graphics switching enabled. I unchecked that the day I purchased the macbook.

No help for me???
Let me clarify further...
While running music videos, I had videos skipping and looking bad while scratching and backspins.
Karaoke looked good. I did not see any skipping with karaoke but then again, there is no need to scratch karaoke or do backspins.
I really need some help with this.

There's plenty of threads that clear this up, already. Go into your video options and check the "decode while hidden" box. It lets the video load and play smoothly while the crossfader is over on the other deck. It's almost like video not playing is getting a virtual run through. That's what worked for me and that's the advice I've given before, seems to work. hit me up if there's more issues.

That is right I had that same issue also and if you started it in the middle of a video that over 12min+ give and take the word will not be with the song.
