Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html

Home FREE is free limited software and has limited built-in recording facilities. It doesn't support using a microphone.

If by 'mixer' you mean a MIDI controller such as Hercules DJ Console, Numark MixTrack, etc. then you will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Pro to be able to use these: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (Some may come with VirtualDJ LE (Limited Edition) included that can be upgraded to the full Pro at a discount.)

If you mean a real hardware DJ mixer (E.g: Pioneer DJM series), then you will need to purchase VirtualDJ Basic or the full Pro to be able to output the decks separately to two channels.

If you just want to connect your master sound output from VirtualDJ into a single channel on a hardware mixer then this will work in Home FREE. You can record your mixer's sound output (Including its hardware mic channel(s)) using 3rd party recording software (E.g : Audacity) if it has a REC OUT of BOOTH output - See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Recording%20your%20set%20or%20broadcasting%20when%20using%20an%20external%20DJ%20mixer.html

Home FREE is for non-commercial use only. It cannot be used at gigs or for other purposes where you are being paid.
