Hello my name is Ron. I have virtual Dj pro. I downloaded couple of the skins from the virtual dj website. And I just had a BIG Halloween gig. And my laptop kept freezing, in front of the crowed at my gig. It ended up ending my program (shutting it down) and when I went to open virtual dj back up, it pop up and error saying it could not find the supported skin. And to reinstall virtual dj. So for one I looked like an IDIOT in front of 100s of people. Lost all my cue points etc. All because I downloaded skin from the virtual dj website. So if anyone is downloading skin BE CAREFUL. I wouldn't wanna hear someone else going through the humiliation I did at my gig.

I'm 100% sure that it was not the skin you downloaded that caused your issues, unless you used a very OLD skin (created for versions prior to VDJ 6.X-5.X)
However I'm sorry to hear that something went that wrong in your gig :(

A skin will rarely cause you such issues. Freezing, and similar issues are due to bad computer performance or maybe due to a plugin (sound/video effect). Please follow instruction given here on how to improve your computer's performance.
PC : http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Common%20PC%20Performance%20Issues.html
Mac : http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Common%20Mac%20Performance%20Issues.html
Notice also if any of the audio/video effect may cause such issues, and remove that plugin from the VirtualDJ\Plugins folder.
VirtualDJ probably could not find the skin, because you deleted that. In that case, you should download the Registry Tool and change the skin using the Tool.. http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/2170/Registry_Tool.html
Regarding your lost cue points, apparently while installing/uninstalling VirtualDJ, you agreed to delete Database and settings, but either you shouldnt do that, or make sure you have backed up your database first (which of course you should do that regularly)
