Hi, first post, been lurking for a little while :),
First i would like to say this seems like a great forum for getting info on mappings, and controller issues, etc from the knowledgeable forum users, u know who u are....,
Sorry to start with a gripe, but would like some input on this: i recently purchased a Reloop Terminal Mix 4, and want to upgrade to Pro full, from the supplied LE version. It would seem that i am only entitled to a $49 discount..
From what i have seen owners of a Mixtrack pro can upgrade to vdj pro full for only $149, for a controller which costs less than half the TM4...
While i understand that the different hardware companies have different deals with Atomix...., before handing over my hard earned i wanted to hear if anyone else had tried this upgrade path?
I have just had this upgrade price confirmed on the atomix support sales chat thingy, (who also thought it seemed wrong) ,my comments were being passed on, apparently... :)
Maybe i should be asking this on the Reloop forum, but i guess it just comes down to the amount Reloop pay Atomix for the LE lisence, so my gripe is not with atomix...
I shall still upgrade whatever, i need the pro version, and i wont mention the updates..., oops!
Ur comments please :)

You said it yourself ..... each controller has a different discount agreed between the manufacturer and Atomix!
Pro is well worth the upgrade.

sorry you feel short-changed, believe me, VDJ Pro is worth the full price of purchase.
if you were purchasing a controller for the discount alone you should have researched.

You won't feel like that by upgrading to PRO. There is no "hidden fees" for extra effects, skins, mappings....you will have full access to everything VDJ has to offer. Well worth it.

Thanks guys, as a side note, am really happy with the tm4,its a top quality controller, and for the price its a bargain, getting a large discount on vdj pro would probably have pushed the retail price up anyway,so i guess it makes little difference...

I bought pro outright, didn't know about any discounts. With free updates is it really an issue? cost me twice what VDJ cost just to insure my gear each year :(

How about that then!!
It turns out there was an error on the site, which has now been fixed, meaning the upgrade for TM4 owners from VDJ LE to Pro full is now a very reasonable $149!
Needless to say i upgraded straight away!
Many thanks Homeboy :)
