While I usually prefer the "Cloned" designs better, my last few skins are based on a "semi-mirrored" base.
See-ing your designs I would go for semi-mirrored.
PS: Since the semi-mirrored is based only on two "base" panels why don't you develop/release both flavors ? It's just a matter of "shifting" two sets of co-ordinates on the right side...

Not a bad idea, but considering the fact that the skin will have 16 different view modes (so 16 different skins), that will lead me to double the amount of them. It is going to be a skin pack, and user will have a menu to decide if he needs 2 decks or 4, video or audio view, external mixer or internal simple or advanced. Imagine the size of the project .lol
