We have between 10 and 15000 songs and we have books. Big binders from Office Max; you should be able to do it with no problem. The issue is deciding if you are going to do your books by ARTIST or TITLE. IF you do both it gets expensive and time consuming. You can always do one book of each as an option. Also to consider do you have multiple accounts on the same night. We have have that problem, so we have 2 books going out per gig and they are done by ARTIST

Hi thanks for your reply i was just thinking that if someone saw a karaoke book of over like 600 pages that they would just think stuff that and not bother looking through it and it would of just been a waste of time anyway

I have 26,000 songs in my books listed by artist. i don't list duplicates and have 2 columns on each page and is under 100 sheets (200 front/back). I use KJ pro to create the books. It can be expensive to make up a bunch of books and i reprint about every 2 years. In the meantime, i add new release sheets to the front.

Make sure duplicates are by the same supplier, a lot of singers will ask for a particular version by DK, Sunfly etc.

I use KJ Pro, have 18,000 songs use 8 font arial, two columns per page, in a 2-1/2 inch heavy duty binder, have eight listed by artists and two done by title as once in a while, someone wants to look up a song to see who sings it originally. But if you only go one way, make sure you list by Artists, it is much neater, more popular, and categorized by something, instead of a long uncategorized list from A to Z titles. We, wife and I, do eight to ten karaoke shows a week.

Sometimes I do karaoke gigs (limited), so I have one book by artist and one by title. Mostly they use the one by artist.
Have about 7000 karaoke songs in my database.
Now i'm thinking to buy a cheap ebook reader or tablet where I can store my lists. This makes it much faster to update, search etc...
Tablet can be cheap as it doesn't need to be fast, just only for scrolling in the list or searching.
Ideally would be an app where users can select the song, bring in there name and send it to VDJ, now i'm dreaming ... but maybe one day we will have that functionality.

Buy a ton of Ipads and make your books digital for the bar flies to look at. (he he he)

KJ Pro has a feature to export your list to PDF or html format. Upload that to a cheap easy website and advertise that. Plus I have books as well. I actually have 102,000 karaoke files and I fit them all in a 2 inch binder with a 3x2 configuration. Artist and Title only. It's like 100 pages front and back. I have 2 books by artist and 2 books by title.

I always remove duplicates no mater the supplier. I usually know (or preview) which is the most original sounding version. Most of my customers that prefer a specific versions will notify me.
It's always my goal to make the book as slim as possible.

I have around 34,000 karaoke songs from all different makers, but i only list the Sunfly ones. As most of the time, people are generally lazy and come straight to me to ask "have you got this, have you got that". If i know i have it, then i tell them to simply fill out a slip with the song name and title and of course their name and ill call them when its ready. Or the other way around, if i am currently overflowing with requests, then i just give them the "if its not in the book i don't have it". I only use one book as this slows down the request process. Otherwise most nights i would'nt get through the stack of request slips. The good thing with VDJ is, if someone asks you "because they cant find it in the book" you can do a very quick check/search, and confirm there and then...Simples :D
Oh and over the years, i have learnt that its better to do it by artist, as most people know the artists name before they do the song title.
