If any of you are familiar with the automation tools in Fruity Loops, this is for you.
I was wondering if I can prepare my set using the playlist and automate my knobs, faders, and effects.
I'm sure that this is possible and if anyone knows how to get this to work. I would really appreciate a tutorial.

My dj equipment was stolen a while back and since then, I have given up mixing. I would really like to pick it up again and have no problem mapping my keyboard to mix. I would like this automation feature for recordings and when I decide to mix at a friend's party without having to spend all of my precious time mixing.

Currently this is not possible. VirtualDj is a "real-time" mixing software.
You can manually adjust mix-in / mix-out points for your songs when they get automixed, but just about that.
The new version of VirtualDj (Version 8) will have a "timeline" feature that will let you do more on this subject, but right now as I said above it's not possible.
