I am trying to use a mic through vdj, so I can use vdj effects. But i am having 2 problem that i cant figure out, I am using 5 deck skin, my mic is a usb headset conected to my laptop, no controller.
Problem 1. Basic config with microphone, If I try to use Script "deck 5 linein 'mic' on" the mic stay on even if I turn it off by pressing the "deck 5 linein 'mic' on" button a second time. I have to use advance config with microphone to deck 5 and "deck 5 linein 5 on" then i can turn the mic on and off. What missing in the basic config to turn the mic on and off.
Problem 2. In advance config setup when i activate a effect on deck 5 (mic deck) the effect does not apply to the microphone audio. But works in basic setup (but Icant turn the mic off). What step am i missing ?. Thanks.

If you assign deck 5 to your mic, then you can easily control the volume of the mic, using the deck volume.
Or you can assign a keyboard/controller button to toggle between on and off using the deck 5 volume .. (like an ON-OFF button)
deck 5 volume 0% ? deck 5 volume 100% : deck 5 volume 0%
I ve done such a skin (3 decks though) http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/13418/TCmania_MIC.html , if you want to take a look and "copy" some actions from there (like talkover ;) )
