Hi all
I have just bought a stanton djc.4 controller but with it just came the standard version of vdj, i have the pro version which i used with my hercules controller but cant get the stanton working with the pro vdj.
any ideas?

also what is the pro version for the stanton djc.4 called so i can shop around?
and anyone any idea if djc.4 will work with traktor pro?

This i know for a fact if you dont have a full version registered to you. you have to map everything yourself. even if you have the file in the le version it will not work in pro version unless its legal software.
 

To answer you first question, the Stanton DJC-4 is listed in the controllers natively supported in VDJ Pro 7.3, so that should work out of the box

This means, that if you add the VDJ pro license you purchased and used on your Hercules gear to you profile, you will the be able to download the latest VDJ Pro version (7.3) from the download center, and will then have native support for your Stanton DJC-4. Actually it should then be chosen as the default when it is connected and you open VDJ, and work right away

I've done the same for my Denon MC3000. It came with a Traktor license, but works fine out of the box with my VDJ Pro 7.3
