Is there a way to open a couple of either virtual folders or regular hard drive folders in the browser, so they are side by side? Like if I have a folder labeled Accapellas, and one labeled Instrumentals, can both be open next to each other so you can scroll through and load tracks versus just having one folder at a time open?

No, but you could load one folder and drag it to the sidelist at the bottom then reopen the other folder at the top. The browser can also be expanded/contracted with the use of a keyboard shortcut if required.
I have done this with my Motown & Country genres as below.

Gotcha! I always forget about the sidelist because I keep it closed to give me the most real estate for what ever folder I'm in. lol Thanks for the tip...that'll work. Hopefully future versions will give you the ability to open 3 or 4 folders side by side. :)

My screen is 1920x1080 so plenty vertical room for the browser. My backup machine is 1366x768 and that's not great!

Another way you can do this is by creating a VF for the "Instrumentals" and a Sub folder for the "Accapellas"..
Just drag all or what's needed to each folder, then highlight the Instrumental folder right click and "recurse" all your files will show from both folders in alphabetical order and you have the option of sorting by any field you need...
Good Luck

One more option would be to create a filter folder that has all your acapelles and instrumentals in it. I'm not at my machine so I can't give you the exact filter right but I'll post it here in a few.
