Can i make a directly connection from the mixtrack controller straight to the speakers Yorkville 200w or do i have to connect mixtrack to a mixer or amp first and then to my speakers? What's the right way to do it? Thanks.

If the speakers are passive (i.e. they don't have an amplifier built in) then you will need an amp between the Mixtrack and the speakers.

Mixtrack Pro Controller Mapping Questions:
Hi, Since installing VirtualDJ Pro I've used only standard mapping, but now getting accustomed to it I want to change some settings but am having problems (basically with VDJ Script).
1. I need to change the crossfader to hamster so I open config\mappers, click green plus to add and twitch my crossfader so that it appears in the Key Learn box. The standard action learn says crossfader so instead I type in crossfader_hamster and click OK and close. I try to move the crossfader but it has no response now on VirtualDJ. I double check in config and the mapping function for crossfader has been changed to hamster. I MUST DELETE THIS AND REVERT TO STANDARD CROSSFADER. Please advise /help.
2. Virtual DJ has both channel gain knobs in the software, either side of master gain but Mixtrack pro does not have corresponding buttons on the controller. I want to be able to control L+R channel gain via my controller. What is the best way to do this, which other knobs on the controller should I use instead, ie, the 2nd Control Knob for each deck seems most logical. Also if the control 2 buttons are mapped to the gain channels of the software, does this sacrifice their initial functionality as secondary effect dials or can they be configured to operate more than one software function?
3. I started to use Virtual DJ because I found that it was the best mapped software suited to my controller, ready to go 90%+ basically, in comparison to Serato and Traktor. I also found (opposite to many comments) that it had the lowest latency for scratching. I like the jog sensitivity feature in Config and the instant Scratch feature for the crossfader instead of smooth or full. But I still want to tweak it because if I give it a hammering for a while the latency can build up. I read about the registry tool to change the scratch latency to 1024kb but I am unable to download this tool due to my status. Could anyone suggest where I could get this small app from pls? Plus when I go into config\performance the soundcard latency settings are auto by default, which is 512kb for my system. So if I change this setting from auto to 1024 (23ms), is this not the same as what the registry tool is for?
I downloaded a useful small app, the DPC latency checker and when I run it the graph moistly hovers around 512 but occasionally spikes to 1024, so am I better setting the soundcard latency to 1024 instead of auto?
4. Finally the ASIO4ALL great debate. It came with my controller and Numark stated to install this generic driver before any DJ software so I have always used it. But I read that setting the audio to WDM or Numark driver is as good or the same. Some conflicting advice. At the moment I am sticking with my ASIO4ALL driver because as I said above my system setup using Mixtrack Pro and VirtualDJ runs at low latency and the scratching sounds better than I could imagine.
I realise I have written a lot but I hope that someone kind has the time to answer my questions, especially relating to setting my crossfader to hamster and why it is not working for me?
Regards
