Hi All,

Currently most of my gigs are coming from people aging 30 to 45.

I have a very good list of music for this age group. But i am always looking to make the list better.

So my question is do any of you have any song suggestions for this age group that you currently play that they love.
Looking for songs from the 80's 90's and early 2000's that maybe I forgot about.

Thanks
Derek

That's a difficult one...

We're not all in the same country, so a hit in one place may mean nothing in another.

We don't know what songs you've already got.

People aged X don't necessarily like music from year Y.

How long have you been DJing? How big's your VDJ music collection?

If someone asked you to play "songs from the 80s" fro example, what would you typically play - your "go to" songs?

gorilaz is always a big hit
blur
iourney is always a crowd pleaser (when i say crowd pleaser i mean this demographic)
prince
inxs gets the floor movin
love shack (song) makes peaple dance
footloose and im all right are two of my faves to get it goin
i dont get alot from them but i find soundtracks to movies gets some great songs you forget about

Also, be sure to ask your friends in that age group what they like (music, songs) ect. the input can really be of great help when deciding what music you are wanting to use in your shows. Jeff :)

Hi, I would recommend looking at the Billboard Charts for ideas on different genre's..it's difficult to determine what age group likes when it comes to music or songs..hope this helps, Jeff :)

70's, 80's, 90's music is what I play also, let me share my tracklists with you here :

(This is not an ad. haha)

You can find the tracklisting with each mix, hope that helps a little bit.

Best Regards,
