Depending on the brand, it's not a delay from the software. It's a delay from the radio transmitter. What kind of headphones? Also, please post a screen shot of your sound set up configuration.

Hi
I have this same problem. Is there a way to fix the delay on Virtual Dj 8 or on my Macbook pro 13"? My bluetooth headphones aren't the best and only have Power on/off/Pair, Next/Previous buttons.

If you use a pair of wired headphones, is there a delay?

the delay is caused by the wireless blutooth system, stereo audio has to be encoded and decoded as well as compressed to get it over blutooth.
I would suggest that they are not suitable to DJ use at all, implementing a delay in the main audio of VDJ to compensate would have all sorts of complications.
you will find that a pair of standard non-blutooth will work fine , and will probably give you better quality sound and better range.
blutooth audio standard was originally designed for mobile phone headset connections and was originally mono and the quality only had to be suitable for speech with a limited frequency range, this has been improved with later versions of blutooth , but its still not high quality, I believe the delay is mainly caused by the encoding of the stereo
