So dissappointed with VDJLE. Was playing a gig with a DENON MC6000 when sound became distorted to the point that i had to shut the whole program down. Came back up for a while then did the same thing again. With these type of glicthes would never invest in a pro version.

Sound like a latency issue. Download DPC Latency checker and make sure your system stays in the green. i had the same controller and I can assure you that once you have your system properly set up, it will be rock solid. If you'd like further help post the specs of your machine so you can get some suggestions. Theres tons of resources on here on how to tweak your system.

Most computers do not come ready to deal with professional audio applications from the factory. Sometimes they will work fine right off the bat, but performance can almost always be improved.

Was the unit plugged into a 3.0 usb port?

Were you using the asio drivers?

Uh I think the bigger question is, did you test your system out before hand? Are you knew to using DJ software? With every machine being different you always need to run your test for at least 2 hours IMO.

Loads of people (me included) use the MC6000 with VDJ Pro with no problems at all. The problem is most likely to be with your computer.

The Asio drivers just don't work well on some machines but you can use WDM instead which works great, however I'm not sure if you get the option to change that on the LE version.

It's the Denon drivers at fault here and not VirtualDJ.

or the ASIO drivers, don't use them. I have no problems with my MC 6000.

dude in my opinion i think that LE versions are way better because its laking most of the options there for there is nothing to go wrong i mean right ? i never had problems with my LE version ever.

how is the sound without the denon?

does your computer meet the minimum specs to run VDJ ??

A weak machine and/or one that hasn't been tweaked for audio will not work well......

implement the performance tweaks listed at the link you were provided

to turn off background processes the easy way try gamebooster

if your C drive is 80% full or more you must make space on the drive.....you would need to

delete stuff or move them to an external drive.....

have you defragmented the C ?? if you don't know what defragment is then the answer is no ....so

defragment the C drive

also sometimes changing or turning off the power options can free up resources ......

Unbelievable the amount of help i got. thanks everyone bout to clean up my laptop lol

Was wondering if you were going to come back. No doubt the VDJ family is awesome.

Can u guys help me out with my question? I'm going nuts over here! Thanks

What are your system specs? Can't help much if you don't provide details.

you hijacked a thread and gave no information as to whatever the question was?

I think I understand the "going nuts" part.

FWIW, I use the ASIO drivers with no problems. I do remember having to fiddle with the driver versions and the config a bit, but it's been absolutely fine since.

I also use the MC6000, I had a problem when I 1st set it up and it nearly went back to the shop as faulty. But I spent hours, and I mean hours painstakingly going through every notch on the Asio driver latency settings until I came to 888 and it works perfectly now. I looped the beginning piano section 16 bars of DJ Sammy heaven candlelit mix and kept changing settings until I got the right sound without pops and crackles. Hope you get it sorted soon too.

Ha ha ..... that's exactly the same song I use when testing my MC-6000. Spooky or wot?

Keith

It obviously works well then ;) When I fancied a change I tried looping the first 16 bars of Adele - make you feel my love. It had the same effect.

Candlelit mix of Cascada - Everytime we touch is another good one.
