Firstly can I use VDJ main gig computer and backup laptop at a gig at the same time randomly playing off both machines.

Secondly using content unlimited Audio both computers logged in I find I can search grooveshack on both machines but download from only one (the laptop) is this normal?

Providing they are only being used by you and you aren't using them both simultaneously for separate live playout (E.g: To two different rooms in a club) then this is OK. You're allowed to have a second install as a backup on standby at any time.

However, you can't log into ContentUnlimited on two computers simultaneously. You can only log in on one at a time (Logging on computer A will log out computer B and vice-versa.) You can play already cached content though, providing that it hasn't expired and you can of course log in again via the CONFIG -> Internet tab.

Cheers ...... and thanks for the quick reply.

Hello, I am wishing to upgrade from VDJ LE to pro. Question I have is the laptop I currently have LE on may be in question on system resources, if for some reason I need to purchase a more powerful system may I uninstall VDJ Pro and reinstall on new system with no extra cost or problems?

I am using numarks mixdeck and it appears the upgrade will be $199.00 any info or tips will be appreciated. Thanks, Terry

Yes, you can do that without any issues. Just install and enter your Pro serial number.

Uninstall it from the old laptop first if you're planning on giving/selling the laptop to someone else!

I am asking about new content unlimited service for music as well as karaoke. Here is why. I used to buy all the music when I played in clubs on vinyl (man showing my age) but haven't purchased much music in years ... except for Karaoke (which is main gig) Recently a Law suit for 6 million dollars was served on several in my area for illegal hard drives of karaoke. It has caused me concern in the music area. I bought a computer about 7 years ago that had a ton of music which I've used. The rest was from sites like Limewire, Napster etc. I need some advice to get this thing legal... as possible. Like I said, My karaoke is about 95% legit but need a service to make songs ok. thanks Michael aka DJ older than dirt Am I allowed to download to hard drive (like it said) and use.
thanks for your time.
