Anyone have this happen to you or know WHY?
(I previously used Hercules controller MK4) simple and worked great not complicated but somewhat limited)
Recently upgraded to MC3000, connected to PC, mixer, powered PA, running video, which was exact flawless combination with Hercules.
My Story:
Last night after only a short use on casual night autoplay list - crowd arrived so switch to deck 2 and half way through song it starts to drag and sound distorted over Pa and on headphone cue for deck 2 - switch to deck 1 and plays song fine use sync for next song & go back to deck 2 and it plays fine for maybe half song then does it again but this time when i switch over to deck 1 it too is doing the slow dragging and distortion - almost sounds like an FX button is triggered but I am, yet to use effects since I am not sure how they are mapped and havent had much success with them yet. all FX knobs are full counter clock wise left and are not engaged. the only button I used was the sync and messed with the video audio (for slider i beleive)
at that point I played music on phone & reconnected Hercules and workd fine rest of night.
Unit is new and was honestly 1st time used extensively for an event - out of box tested to make sure it was read on PC and played a few songs back and forth with no issues.

Were you using ASIO drivers, or widows drivers?

sound comiing from mc3000 - ASIO - 12 decks then 34 phones been working with it LESS any effects for 2 hours, set up a playlist played a few songs and coincidently when I came back to log on I hear it sounded odd in the other room and it started doing it ALL by itself.
1 thing I noticed, at start up the line in levels at top I had fully off (counter clock) and when it started dragging - it functioned when i went to 12 then back to full counter clock sound was off.
almost sounds like the brake is kicking it but to only 50% of stop- very garbled -
not sure what I did other than try to delete FX 123 or shift 123 but nothing - now I went to audio set up clicked on ASIO and apply cleared up
Close to a remedy?????

Now since I clicked on ASIO in sound set up and hit apply, the line level has no function just the sound from the master and the slider-

that works but I dont want to do that 10 times a show in 4 hours - ya know - using video, its hard to hide i switched over
i been mixing for a bout 30 minutes and its back to normal but NO i didnt restart, just from the ASIO click but its come and gone 3 times and keep in mind NO FX is deliberatley engaged
I might just by pass the ASIO and use 3.5 from PC and see if the performance changes - I had to do that recently with Hercules cause I kept getting "click" noises light a light flicker hick up pretty frequently, but with PC sound no issues
however, I didnt upgrade to settle for not usiing stereo XLR outs
