Hi guys,
so I got a few things. One, is I've been DJing for a while now using Virtual DJ and my Vestax Typhoon which came with a USB hub. Now the thing is, if I try to use the program without the hub, it won't work at all. However I do use the Hub with it and it works beautifully, except one thing. It is so sensitive that if you move a wire, or push on it a little, it freezes the whole program. I have been meaning to maybe purchase a replacement hub but I cant find it on sale by itself anywhere, so is it possible to just purchase a different USB hub and use that?
I also wanted to upgrade soon to the Pioneer DDJ-SX. And wanted to know if it is compatible with Virtual DJ.
And one last thing. I've been entered into a huge DJ competition. And if I win, I get to open up at the Grand Marquee for NYC PRIDE this year. But I need your help with getting votes to keep me in the TOP 3. From then on the judges choose their favorite mix/dj.
So here is what you can do.
1. Click the link to get to the Wild Thang DJ competition : https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.370183859769552.1073741835.243066349147971&type=1
2. Find me DJ MONSTAR (second row) and click on my photo
3. CLICK LIKE and SHARE. SHARE as much as you like bc they count BOTH LIKES AND SHARES. As well as multiple shares.
The link to my mix will be located in the description portion of my photo.
thanks!!

If it's just a normal USB hub, then you can replace it with any powered USB 2.0 hub
It's possible that you need to use the hub because your computer has USB 3.0 ports. USB 3.0 commonly causes compatibility issues for many USB 2.0 devices and can usually be resolved by using a USB 2.0 hub.
