Topic: best setting for macbook pro and ddjsx

what is the best sound config for using macbook pro and ddjsx? i will be using the mic as well if that makes a difference. any help is greatly appreciated

I didn't have to do anything special on mine. Plugged and played.
 
im speaking of the vdj sound config. how do you have it set? input / output / sound card etc
 
Pardon the late reply.

Under 'sound setup' in VDJ Config I choose 'Outputs - Advanced Output'
And then under the 'Advanced Config' pane I choose Master - Pioneer DDJ-SX - outputs 1&2
And 'headphones - DDJ-SX - outputs 3&4'.

Hope that helps in some way.

The ADV config isn't needed ;-)

Input - None
Output - Headphone
Soundcard - ASIO or 4Out for Mac ---> beside select the SX as the soundcard!

Hmmm, now that I think about it, my config is actually a leftover from my old NS6.
Perhaps it wasn't even necessary then, but its always worked well.
 
thanks...i see there are different opinions. separate question....preferred skin that helps in using all or most of features???
