HELP! Multiple problems with Denon MC6000 and Virtual DJ - I have been using it for a while but upgraded the firmware and now having tons of issues and even went back to the old firmware and still no luck.

Problems - the controller lights beat to the music on both decks, channel 1 fader jumps around sporadically, when you hit mic 1 volume jumps drastically(not touching ducking at all).

Power supplies, and USB cables have been swamped. Happens on 2 different computers. I just COMPLETELY wiped one computer and only installed windows 7 and updates, and Virtual DJ Pro - still same results.

I have tried numerous skins. I thought that wiping the computer and no plug ins would do it but still have a problem.

Crazy thing is I have 2 computers and 2 mc6000 - one is only a week old because of this problem.
here is a video of lights flashing

no AISO is for only sound
You look to image and test ( after firmware denon or problem with denon )

I believe that uninstalling VDJ does not delete custom mappers. You need to delete them manually.

I'm having the same issue with my HP, 64bit Windows 7 professional, VDJ Pro 7.4.
It also will not buffer the songs all the way and channel 2 Thru crossfader settings will not function.

Deleting mappers and doing a firmware update on the unit now. 3 weddings this weekend, gotta get this working ASAP

Songs not buffering (I.e: The overview waveform is not being displayed in full) may be because you are either loading songs that are longer than your 'max load' setting (E.g: Pre-made song mix) or you are playing variable bitrate (VBR) files that have not been analysed so they may initially appear longer in length than they actually are. Please see our FAQ pages: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/MaxLoad.html

The crossfader on the MC6000 can be toggled in hardware between being either an audio crossfader, video crossfader or both. Press the CF MODE button to toggle between each of these modes and also check CONFIG -> Options to ensure that the Crossfader is set to an appropriate mode (Not Disabled.)

Please also check that the MC6000 is configured correctly: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/DN-MC6000.html

Firmware update was unsuccessful.

I haven't found an official Mapper for the MC-6000 on VJD yet. Can someone send me a link?
I am currently having VDJ analyze all of my music for the buffering issue. The CPU usage bar has been in the solid red now for 5 hours.

Third times a charm. After a third try of running the Java firmware update software, we finally were successful!

You should be able to use the 6000, out of the box. You do not need the mappers from VDJ. Those mappers are modifications, that some users wanted, but are not required. I use the 6000, and all functions are included. I have even mapped keys to different functions.

To revert back to the built-in native mapping, please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Reset%20controller%20back%20to%20default%20factory%20mapping.html

Please also ensure that you have the latest VirtualDJ v7.4.1 installed: http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html

If you get a crash when analysing, then you may have a corrupted file in your music library. High CPU usage is normal because this is a processor intensive task. Make sure that your computer has adequate cooling and none of its vents are obstructed.
