Hey guys basically have a slight problem with my Akai lpd8 and virtual DJ
Im trying to map my LPD8's pads for cue points to do some cue juggling, and im trying to have them so the cue point lasts as long as i keep my finger on it or so i can hear the word start of the lyrics or kick drum etc that i have it cue pointed to.But for some strange reason when i map the first few pads for cue points useing cue_play 1 5000ms it sets it and will only last as long as iv got my finger on it but when i got further on into the song were there are no cue points i hit pad 1( cue point 1) and it sets a cue point there instead of taking me back to cue point 1! WTF?
Can anyone help me and show me wat i need to do? Iv had a look at the mapping wiki thing and it dont tell me how really :/

HotCue Stutter Mode is possible if you assign them as ..
pause ? cue 1 ? cue 1 : goto_cue 1 & cue 1 : hot_cue 1 ? cue 1 : set_cue 1
(replace .. 1, with the number of each HotCue you wish to use)
pause ? cue 1 ? cue 1 : goto_cue 1 & cue 1 : hot_cue 1 ? cue 1 : set_cue 1
(replace .. 1, with the number of each HotCue you wish to use)
