guys will there be a time when vdj does not work on windows xp.
i know there is no more updates from microsoft but to me i only use laptops for vdj only.

As you know the company will not reveal specs on new versions. This has been asked for several times but not given.
You'll just have to see if VDJ8 supports XP if and when released but I can't imagine it won't as plenty of people still use it.

If VDJ7 works well for you then there is no need to update to version 8 unless you really need to. Even with the best of intentions any new code rewrite will be buggy for a while until tested in all scenarios.
