Hi everyone-
I have a 4 TB HD (2 TB x 2, raid 1) that I'm copying to an independent 2TB HD. I copied the entire drive and dragged it to the new drive. The 4TB HD is formatted for a Mac & the 2TB HD. Is formatted as exFat, so I completed the copying via my MBP. I hooked up the 2 TB HD and started up virtual DJ, however, my playlists errored out-meaning I selected a playlist, but couldn't load a song from it.
Not sure why the tracks won't play, the only thing I can think of is the two drives have different names, but everything is in the exact same folder structure.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick

When you double click on my computer, Does the new hard drive have the same drive letter as the old hard drive?

Johnny-
Thanks for responding, I'm doing this through a Mac, so when I hook up my hard drives, all I see are names that I've given the hard drives. My main HD is called 'Nick's DJ HD' and my backup is called 'Nicks's DJ Backup'. Mac doesn't have drive letters.

But it is the same reson why;-)
Inside your playlists are the exact path information stored!
You have to change on backup HDD side all playlist details from 'Nick's DJ HD' to 'Nicks's DJ Backup'!
Then the playlists will also work on backup side.
OR you name the backup HDD same then the orginal one!
