I bought the R1 yesterday and upgraded too VDJ Pro aswell. Now i cannot get the R1 too controll VDJ properly. As in most settings on the decks work but nothing on the mixer. Is there a step by step guide for setting it up as i may have the wrong skin selected or maybe i have the sound cards messed up. Any help is much appriciated as ive a gig in a few hours.

Read the manual!
The R1 has two modes of operation - PC mode and R1 mode. The manual explains the difference.

thanks for the info. i have it working now. i was just wondering when in midi mode with virtual dj is there a way too hacve the screen on the deck read the song infro and whats left etc as mine says PC 00:00:00?

No, it's a limitation of the R1. Pioneer may possibly enable it in a future firmware update....or it may be hardware related.
