I have been racking my brain on which controller to get. I am currently using a DDJ Ergo and am done with the small controllers. I have spent years behind a DJM 500 mixer and a set of CDJ 800's that I was used to the larger space. I am currently thinking about the DDJ SX, the DDJ SZ, and the NS7 II. What are some of your opinions on what to get?

Get behind each one and which ever one feels the best to YOU is the one you should get. Alls we can do is tell you what we like best about each unit but then what we like you might not. So I'd say test each one and get what feels best for you.

I have a friend with the NS7, if you can get around what a beast it is to carry around it is a really nice controller. Personally though I like smallerish controllers with the functionality I use the behringer cmd 4 with the cmd pads added for controlling effects and it is a pretty nice system that comes in alot lower and is easier on my back.

After going and playing with the controllers I ended up with a DDJ SX. All I can say is WOW! This controller is as good as any of the Pioneer items I have had in the past. It feels very good to the hands when I use it. Now I cant wait to break it in in public after playing with it for hours to make sure there are no issues with the performance!
