was going to recored my radio show when I found that my mixer is working with one channel only not two channels what is going on with my VMS2 mixer why is it mixing the songs via the one channel can't fade on to the 2nd song need this fixed

Probably because your mixer section on vms controller is analog, not midi.

If you want to do a recording with the vms you must use either a external software like audacity and route the master signal via booth out back to your PC or you use a recording tool like the reloop mixtape. Have also a look here...

audio config should go like deck1 i adj (asio) 1-2 deck 2 adj (asio) 3-4. you propably have now master coming to deck channel.. and if you wanna record a mix just add, Record loopback adj (asio) 1-2 to line ins, and you're ready to record...

no matter what your deck setup is...if you use the record function of vdj you need to have a full midi mixer. the vms has a analoge mixer, so vdj does not know that u are using the crossfader because you have only a fake command that is send to the software to give a movement to the mixers skin elements.

you just need to activate the record loopback on soundsetup. Then it records same what is coming out from mixers main.
