Ok, he's the issue. I have VDJ7 on my desktop computer and on my laptop that I use at gigs. Let's say on my desktop computer I right click on a track and select "file infos". I then proceed to edit the title/artist/album of the song. I may do this to multiple files on my desktop. I want to then transfer that information over to my laptop so I don't have to do all of the same editing on my laptop as well. I run an external drive on my desktop and laptop both. What files do I need to copy from my desktop to my laptop? I tried copying the local database folder from my external hard drive along with the VDJ folder located in My Documents from my desktop but this did not transfer any of the editing I had done. This is driving me nuts and I'm sure it's simple and I'm just missing something.

Open VDJ on the machine you have done all the edits on
Plug in the External drive
Right click your Master music folder >'Copy to' your external drive
This will also transfer the database to the external drive
Open your 2nd machine and VDJ
Plug in the external drive and open it in VDJ
Find the master music folder on the external, right click it >'copy to' the location that contains your music folder
Profit
Plug in the External drive
Right click your Master music folder >'Copy to' your external drive
