Hi,
Don't know to much about how to map FX buttons to match skin buttons. I tried a few things but some things doesn't works. I tried "Button 1" then choose "Pluins" then "effect_active" it works on the button 1 but when I tried to configure the other buttons everything is mess, press button 1 do the echo fx then press buton 3 do the echo fx, which it was suppose to do the flanger fx.
I'm confuse now :/
how I assign one specific button an FX and make sure is the FX I assign on VDJ skin?

Specific effects
effect_active 'effect name'
effect_active 'echo'
effect_active 'flanger'
effects in slots assigned on the skin
effect_active 1
effect_active 2
effect_active 3
effect_active 'effect name'

Thanks for replying. Tried that all ready works only first button, the rest doesn't do anything. I'm trying to use the Old skin for the Hercules RMX, seems to works on VDJ 8 but it doesn't work the way it was working before I upgrade it.

Put your OCD aside and try it on the default skin V8 skin
Old skins will have compatibility issues
Or go in to your mapping and click the action learn button and click slot 2, to find out what it's called in V7

Sorry I'm new to mapping, how I do that, I try it on VDJ 8 but nothing happen on the Key Learn.

What you have done is map all 3 buttons to the same effect slot ( ' effect_active ' will just do slot 1)
What you need to do is
Button 1; effect_active 1 (slot 1)
Button 2; effect_active 2 (slot 2)
Button 3; effect_active 3 (slot 3)
What you need to do is
Button 1; effect_active 1 (slot 1)
Button 2; effect_active 2 (slot 2)
Button 3; effect_active 3 (slot 3)
