I've somehow manged to have two database files. I used to have my Database file on the root level of my D drive, but I see that I also have one in my C/mydocs/vdj folder. How do I tell which one VDJ is accessing? I'm using VDJ 7, just about to try VDJ 8.

VirtualDJ is using multiple databases.
It creates a database on each drive it's finding (media)files on.
So it's totally normal to have more than one database file and VDJ will use and manage any of them automatically.

As written VDJ manages them automaticly. The good part is if you have a external device connected with 5000 tracks and unplug it the 5000 tracks are no longer visible in the search - other programms show these stuff even if the drive is not connected ;-)
