Topic: My Computer Does Not Recognize DDJ WEGO2

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

My Problem is very clear.
My computer doesn't recognize the controller.
the VDJ LE works and the asio driver doesn't make any problems.
My computer recognizes the controller only as a USB , what should I do ?
Where are my controller settings ?

You already started a thread...

here

But I fixed the previous problem and now I have another ....

In the other thread, you were say that the computer sees the WeGO but the program doesn't.

Now you seem to be saying that the computer doesn't see it, but the program does. Well........if the program sees it, then the computer must've seen it too.

The program sees that I have an ASIO driver as well as my computer
but my computer sees a usb device not a controller

You have installed the Pioneer ASIO driver for the WeGO? Not ASIO4ALL or some other driver.

Did you change the WeGO USB cable as suggested previously?

When you say that your computer doesn't see the WeGO as a controller, do you mean VDJ doesn't see it as a controller, or that your OS doesn't see it as a controller?

You say VDJ LE and the ASIO driver work. Is that the WeGO version of VDJ LE? Are you getting sound through the WeGO?

Please try and give more detailed information in your posts.

I have installed the ASIO4ALL driver , it should be useful for all ASIO uses .
Yes I have changed my cable but without any results. The problem is not in the cable because my controller receive power supply thorough this cable , all the LED lights are working but the ASIO Config recognize my controller as a USB device and not as a pioneer controller.
Yes , It's a wego version of the vdj le but I am not getting any sound from the controller.

OK - first job, uninstall ASIO4ALL. You don't need it.

You should only install the Pioneer WeGO ASIO driver.

Can you send me a link please (I am a WEGO2 user)

You were given the link in your previous thread.

You can also find it easily by using Google, or by inserting the CD-ROM that came supplied with your WeGO.

By the way, the WeGO manual states that VDJ LE will not work correctly if there are other versions of VDJ installed - so make sure that you have only one VDJ on your system.

I've tried that solution .. and if I do it that way it will say also that it will say " failed to create ASIO driver " and won't work anyway ....

Was that with the genuine (Pioneer) ASIO driver or the ASIO4ALL pseudo driver?

The Pioneer

I don't think it does say "failed to create ASIO driver".

I've just Googled for that phrase and the only result that appears is your post - so either you have a message unique to you, or it actually says something else.

Do NOT user the ASIO4All driver if there is a dedicated ASIO driver for your device.

The ASIO4ALL is not an ASIO driver. It is in fact just an emulation of an ASIO driver but uses WDM at the end.
WDM is not a low latency technology and should only be used if there is no other possibility/ solution.

First, please get rid of the ASIO4ALL drivers, as these other members have suggested. They should not even be in this conversation. Uninstall the Pioneer drivers also, and start over again, from the beginning. Follow the steps, that Pioneer suggest, as a new install.
