I've got a new turntable and I'm playing with vinyl timecodes for the first time.
I've bought a Rane CV2.5 vinyl which I _think_ counts as a "Serato" time code which supposedly Virtual DJ supports.
Unfortunately with VDJ8 it's not happy - the playback is too fast and skips all over the place, and intermittently starts playing backwards.
At this point I'm not sure if the time code is incompatible, whether I have a configuration issue, and/or whether it's a bad signal into VDJ. I don't think it's the latter because if I play a regular record as a Line In it sounds fine.
So....
a) Has anyone successfully used Rane CV2.5 vinyl for timecodes with VDJ7 or 8?
b) In VDJ8 is this just configured as a "Serato" timecode?
