Hi I like to set a loop at the beginning of my songs and then bring in the first beat with a scratch. However, in version 8 if I do this it goes to the end of the loop when I try to scratch the first beat. I.E. the song stays within the loop even when going backwards. I can't figure out how to disable this. Please help.

A new function in 8, allows the loop to move backwards. Select the pull down option in the loop gui, and disable the back function.

Nope, setting loopbackmode to no or any setting doesn't address the issue. This is not happening in v7. A possible bug maybe.

i don't think its actually a bug but bad design if they have no way of disabling it. i just wish we could have v8 sound quality in v7. so many issues with it and it is very frustrating. i hope time will sort it all out.

Start the loop earlier and use a bigger loop or don't use loop and use a hot cue.
