Topic: DDJ-SX and slicer mode function

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi Guys, i have been a virtual DJ user for a while, obviously behind the scenes, i'm a full fledged member now !!
anyway,
I wonder if anyone can shed a light on a problem i'm having. I've searched the forum and found something similar but I did not find a solution

ie http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/190173/PC_Version_Technical_Support/Pioneer_ddj-SX_-_Pads_not_working_properly.html

Having played around with a ddj sr for a few weeks with VDJ 8, i have now aquired a DDJ sx, the problem i'm having is that when i press the slicer function it jumps to effect slot one and when pressing the pads and trying to alter the slice with the parameter buttons, nothings happens the lights on the pads just increase but the slice doesnt if you understand my drift. I have both units with me still at present, as the DDJ SR belongs to a friend. So I plugged the DDJ sr back in and it works fine.It doesnt jump to Effect slot one and when pressing the parameter buttons the slice changes as it should. ie from one beat to half and quarter etc.

Has any one come across this. I have delete all plugins, mappers and effects and just have the basic ones that come with the program,
Many thanks in anticipation

I used the reg cleaner and did a fresh re-install and its something to do with the native mapper in the DDj Sx when pressing the slicer mode and the loop mode it comes up in effect bank one, the loop roll will work but i cannot change the slicer length as you would with the parameter buttons, i don't like it this way and would like some help to have it set the way the DDJ - SR operates. This must be possible, can any of the pioneer specialists help me on this one.
I'm using a Macbook 11.1 bootcamped with windows 7 64 bit, The DDj SR is does not belong to me any longer so will be giving it up soon and i had hoped the DDJ SX would function pretty much the same.

thanks
