Hi folks, I'm after some advice please.
I'm using Virtual DJ 7.4 on my new Windows 8.1 based laptop. Since switching to my new play-out machine I've noticed a strange popping / clicking noise at the end of each track, once it has faded out. This is only audible if my fader is still up and to be be honest it only happens the once, for a fraction of a second, but that's still once too often for me, if you know what I mean.
I'm guessing it's an easy 'fix' for those in the know but unfortunately, I'm not one of them!
With your help, I'm hoping this problem can be eliminated and I would genuinely appreciate any suggestions you can offer.
Cheers!
Marco.
P.S.
Aside of this minor glitch, I'm really impressed with the Virtual DJ software and glad that I moved over from one of its so-called rival products.

Hi,
please check for the actual update 7.4.1 first and see if the issue still exists.
Then have a look if limiter is switched off/ on/ how value( db) of volume headroom is set and if you have any autogain function active.
do the chlicking appear only when playing with VirtualDJ ?
Do you use automix ?

Many thanks for your feedback RobRoy.
I'm in work at the moment, but as soon as I'm able to, I'll have a nosey at my current settings and let you know how I get on.
As a newbie, I've not tried the Automix feature as yet. It's a case of baby-steps for me at the moment, until I'm a bit more clued up.
Thanks again.
Cheers!
