I tend to prefer the wood cases over the plastic. The cold environment that I find myself in for part of the year leaves me concerned about it getting brittle. Something from Road Runner, Gator, Odyssey. Look for a well built ATA flight case. Spend the money so that it will last and protect your equipment. If your a DIY kind of person, they are not to difficult to make, there are suppliers that sell all the hardware.

Since I have always used a desktop, I have always used one of these. I use a 24 inch monitor, so make sure you measure, and you will be fine.

My tracks stops playing when I am typing in the search dialog box. It happens every so often and I can't figure out what keys I am hitting or combination of keys that does this. The track not only stops but goes back to the beginning so I can't just hit play and continue where it left off. Is there a hot key feature in Virtual DJ that I can turn off? Is there a solution to my problem?

Your problem has nothing to do with this subject. In the future, please start your own thread. Disable the keyboard commands in configurations/Mappers. In other words, right click and delete S for stop, P for pause, etc.
