Ouch, that's a pretty small screen size to be running at HD resolution. No wonder the buttons are small!
Even on my 23" screen (HD res) those pitch bend buttons are smaller than my finger tip. Bit of a skin design flaw really. You could maybe use the custom buttons instead.
Making them bigger would mean modifying the skin. It'd be easier to use an older touch screen skin that's designed for a lower res screen.
