I am using VDJ8 with a vestax VCI 400. I have horrible scratch latency. I do not have this problem with VDJ7 on the same computer (Mac) and controller. I am sure one of you guys can help me with this. Thanks in advance.

What's your scratch quality setting, 0,1 or 2?
zero is known to cause problems with anything but the highest spec machines.

If its slow to recognise you letting go of the platter then try disabling backspin in options and see if that improves it.
