Why Can i not resize the screen of vdj 8. Its only full screen or goes to the taskbar?

What skin are you using?
If default skin for VDJ 8, click again on the green plus icon at top right corner, to toggle between full screen,and re-sized view.
At re-sized view, you can re-size the skin by dragging in any direction from bottom right corner
