I have a question. i have a big gig coming up and to compensate i added (2) Rockville RSG12.2 Dual 12" 2000W PA Speakers+Rockville RPA8 Amplifier DJ Amp to my setup which was a hercules rmx2 running into a bbe sonic maximizer running into my rockville subwoofer that runs to my crown amp that runs to my 2 15s. how would i run my old setup and include my new addition.

Has the Crown amp not got any link outputs on it, that would enable you to loop from there to the second amp?

Running both the 12s and the 15s at the same time to cover the same area is not a good idea. You will wind up with comb filtering and such. If you are feeding the 12s into another, seperate, area, then daisy chaining as said above or using Y-cables to split your mixers output would work.

If your plan is to run them farther out into the crowd, then you will need a delay. Something that can be provided with a DBX driverack 260 for example.

I think with the level of kit he's got, for a one off gig it's not going to be an issue.

We're not talking about a high end PA system for a concert in a venue holding thousands. :-)

I would use a two way audio distribution amp (ADA) coming out of the BBE, one stereo side going to the added system, and the other side going to your normal system. Be sure to use an active ADA and not a simple passive "Y" splitter. You will therefore have two combined systems, both working off of the Hercules RM as a master preamp/leveler. Each system half will have their own separate level controls (from the amps) so you will be able to control the volume in each system zone. And yes, depending on your speaker placement, you very well may need a delay added to inhibit comb filtering.
