I find the number of 12 a very small amount of samples possible to use in VDJ7.
Is there a way to extend the number of playable samples through MIDI?

12 is the most you can have at one time with V7 but you can have banks of 12
With script, or using this tool
http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/16084/Sampler48.html
V8 however allows banks of (a guess) 48? 64?

Great and fast replies as always! Highly appreciated!
This is something for me. Thanks!¨
EDIT:
I downloaded the application but could not find info IF this four bank system is compatible with VDJscript so I can really change bank from controller?

Try using the learn button in mapping,
you can load samples via script, take a look at V7 verbs page, I think it's something like
sampler X load "M:\file.mp3"
Where X is the sample slot

VirtualDJ 8 allows for a maximum of 64 Samples per bank with an infinite number of banks.

Aha! Aha! This means I do not need the "sampler48" dll then?

It's probably better using the dll as it makes changing samples within banks easier.
