I came up with the following work around to get new CU content into VDJ7 using VDJ8. I use this work around as I do not yet trust VDJ8 for live performances.
Work Around to get new CU content into VDJ7
1. Launch VD8
2. Search CU and cache tracks for offline use
3. Close VDJ8 (optional)
4. Launch VDJ7
5. Browse/navigate to your cached VDJ content folder
6. Select a track, load and play!
Thats it! You can now play new CU content obtained via VDJ8 in VDJ7.
Tip: You can also refresh your CU DRM's in VDJ7.
It would be great if VDJ were to release a patch/update for VDJ7 that would connect users to the new catalog available in VDJ8. That would then make this work around unnecessary. :)
