Topic: behringer effect and samplers mapping

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi lads, I am a really beginner that's why I need your help!
I just bought a Behringer studio cmd 4a, I am in trouble because I dont know how to map the effects and the samplers.
I have the full license and I would like to map a specific effect as well as a specific sampler for each botton, I dont even know how to do it, furthermore as you may know this controller have four effect buttons on the left and four on the right side, now I saw some videos on youtube and it seems that it is possible to set 8 different effect (4+4). Also, FX1 (for instance) the system doesn't recognize the FX1 of the left side and the FX1 of the right side so even if I map an effect on the FX1 (left) I'll have the same effect mapped in the FX1 (right) , basically in both sides as a duplicate.
I am not professional , does anybody can provide a simple explanation?

There will be other people along to help further, however my first thought is that there are two distinctly different types of effect. Those which need to be applied directly to a deck, and those that can just be applied to the main master output. For example backspin, brakestart and such effects apply to a deck however the flanger, phasor, and effects of that type may be better applied to the master output.
This makes mapping easier.
Normally deck effects are selected by rotating a knob which cycles through the available effects.
More knobs alter the parameters of the effect.
Three, or four knobs can control all the effects.
Once you have selected the effect, and set the parameters then a button is required to switch the effect on.
Anyway that's just a little overview of effects control

Note : I don't like dual function buttons so I use a sub controller to deal with tasks such as activating the samples.
