Hi picudo,
I think the easiest way is to come out of either the monitor or the headphone output on the mixer and plug that into your pc using the mic in or combo headphone socket, it's usually a 3,5mm jack. Then in the sound config tell vdj to use that as the record source.

I would like to connect Yamaha MG10UX mixer using USB. What are the settings I need to use to monitor next track via head phone and to ensure VDJ 8 is playing the current track via mixer.
Thank you for any help

That mixer only has 2 channel in via usb,
while you could get a functional 2 channel external mixer with this setup, generally a desk mixer is for final stage before the amp stack after the controller/dj mixer, send me a pm and I'll explain what you need to do.
