Topic: Scripting Scratch-Fader Actions

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

ALRIGHTY! I 've been bouncing this back and forth in my brain for months now.

Within the script, Is there a way to assign a button to perform a back and forth fader chop on a per note basis bpm locked?

So lets break that down...

I have a controller that I use to perform loop rolls and stuff; all kinds of script controlled goodies that I'd rather press a button rather than grow a 3rd hand to do.

I'm working on my scratch technique and I've realized that 1-2 and 3 click flares are really half, quarter and 8th note mutes respectively.

I'd like to map a button to control the cross fader to strobe 100% left or right at the previously mentioned rate PER the active BPM of the track.

Any script-guru's have a take on this?

and I will take whatever flak I get for this...

How about just using a Gate or Cut effect....... Seems simpler to me using one of those and then you could go back and keep practicing your flares, lol!

Will do, and the practice is the idea. Get an idea of what it's supposed to sound like live and practice against it with my big dumb sausage fingers.

Essentially creating "ghost" to practice against like in recent-gen racing games or shadow boxing.

Thanks!

Sorry @OhShit VDJ doesn't have a Gate fx but the Cut fx will basiclly do the samething.
