I just recently saw a video about vdj8 it said if I buy the soft wear I can not use in club or gigs so does vdj8 has a GPS to locate you wear you at like home or in a club.

GPS needs hardware to work.
I love the CU feature which enables me to download songs straight into VDJ8, that's when things work!
To do this I need an Internet connection which in my case is provided by a mobile phone used as a hot spot.
Practically all mobile phones make your position known.
You can stop making it easy for people to spy on you, but you will lose some functionality in VDJ 8.
No Internet for starters !
The ultimate safeguard is removing the laptop wifi card.

Where was this video? What was it called? Whoever said that was incorrect anyway.
If you are going to use VDJ professionally (in a club or gig) then you do need to buy an Infinity license (or a monthly Subscription license).
No license is required for home use. If you wish to use a controller at home, then you need a Controller license. You cannot use a Controller license for professional work.
VDJ does not "know where you are". A certain amount of trust is involved. You are asked not to use the free VDJ or Controller licenses professionally, but some people do.
