I finally upgraded to latest version windows 10, latest version virtual dj 8.1 freshly formatted hd wiped clean everything. of course using the same controller i love which is NS7. one deck keeps shifting out of the beat even if i use the same two songs on same tempo on both decks they would both say 110bpm. Right deck would eventually shift even when you manually beat match them. what just happened? i guess it's going back to 7.1 because ANY version i use after that messes up and i get random crashes.

There are those that have been using Win since it came out, and have had no issues. Then there are those that have had nothing but problems. Some have had luck, and others are still having issues. I would suggest that you do some research on your own, make sure you have all the latest drivers, and also take a look here.

This is a known issue, but with the current implementation of motorwheels, its purely up to the hardware to control the speed of the tracks.
When SYNC is pressed, VirtualDJ matches the 2 tracks at that moment, but the speed of the tracks after that, is up to the hardware speed of the platters and VirtualDJ doesnt set or control it.
So, if for any hardware reason, one of the platters cannot continuously keep up the same speed, the tracks will eventually go out of Sync after some time. Dont forget those behave like real turntables ;)
to understand what i mean, do this test. Load 2 tracks (dont have to be the same ones), have both Volume sliders down (so that the audio doesnt come out) , set both Pitch faders of the unit at zero (middle) position and start both decks from the same Cue/marked position (use some sticker). Now, you would expect both decks to stop at the same position after doing some rounds. If you let those decks running for a while, you will realize that the speed of one side may be less or greater than the other. This is what you actually get with the software as well.
In the future, we may change the way the motorwheels are working with our software.

Thanks guys. Don't mean to be negative but it's frustrating knowing that i waited a while and then this issue comes its not gradual but it happens within 4 to 8 count. I understand exactly what you mean. I can manually beatmatch with turntable.
Thing is it still works okay with 7.1
And i also tried latest version of s3rat0 dj and it works fine and then it froze. VDJ hardly ever freeze on me and stability is everything. With all the new features insaw and the sound quality . i cant go back to 7.1 lol please help. If it is indeed a hardware issue i guess i'll have to inquire on Numark's end. Thanks again
