Just got the news from my computer geek friend that the most recent Windows 10 update I downloaded was corrupted. Slowly, but surely, most things failed on the PC; I only use VDJ and a few audio programs so it's not like I lost much data per se. My question is: I have my VDJ cache backed up very diligently now on two separate drives, when I reinstall VDJ and log in, do I just plug in my backup drive(s) and regain all my CU material or is there another procedure I should follow?

It should be fine, if not just copy contents from your back up and paste in cache folder.
