The 90's kind of lost me with music after the incredible run of music from 70's with sort of a declining trend thru the 80's. When the 90's came I was starting to get into reggae which I think was hitting a popular trend around this time.
One thing that stands out for me in 90's was Ice Ice Baby from Vanilla Ice. This one hit wonder which got complaints because claims of copy right infringement did one thing for me. Previously most rap was missing the music in my opinion and this showed what it would be like with music and started to pay more attention to rap JayZ and some others.
This is how I remember it for me personally but you guys are so tuned into music that you can probably just beat me up on this :)

I love VirtualDJ, but when I go into things like cloudlist or anything about music, I feel like a fly in milk. lol. I just don't see any hip-hop djs...but yall do keep up on what certain other types of functions like. I've made a lot of money following VDJs cloudlist....open the door to different types of gigs that I have never chosen to accept before.
